| You can fly Air Namibia from Windhoek directly to Maun. They fly this route five times a week (currently). Depending on the time of year, a ticket runs from around $1720 - $2150. Not exactly bargain prices but I'd use this option and avoid Jo'burg at all costs. |

Are the tickets normally bought seperately or as part of the transatlantic ticket? |

| I just booked from Boston to Frankfurt to Windhoek to Maun through Gracy Travel. All in it was about $2,800. I think the break down was $800 to Frankfurt. 1,600 from Frankfurt to Windhoek and then 3-400 from Windhoek to Maun. I probably could have saved 4-500 going to Joberg but I wanted to avoid Joberg and the required overnight stay there. When you figure in not spending the cash on a room they are pretty close. |
