Did I read somewhere on here that there are new visa requirements in Zim that require prior application? Also, something about an app (don't laugh)?

Essentially this lets you pay on-line for your visa, instead of handing the clerk $30. We stood in the same slow, long line at Vic Falls and it did not save us any time. BFA.

I did the online visa but still ended up in the line anyway. The online way is pretty easy but I’m not sure it saved me much time.

Is anything "new" needed for Gun Permits or can you fill paperwork when you arrive like previously?

you are able to fill out when you arrive.

However, fill out the paperwork before you depart and make 3 copies.

I assume they are still using this form....

I just returned from Zim Monday.
That is the correct gun form. You need 4 copies of it. Best to do it at home.

The Visa is just as easy to get it there,You will still wait in the same line. Still 30.00 cash and exact change.

Airport has really changed. Much nicer than in the past

I was over in May and my PH suggested not doing online and do it when I got there because it's not mandatory yet.
If you can't prepay then I don't see where you really gain that much.
I agree haven't been to Harare since "07" and was pleasantly surprised as to how much nicer airport is.
