I don't know about everyone else, but I'm super excited about the season starting, soon this forum will be filled with, "I'm leaving.... anyone else?" and good hunt reports. It's damn sure time, I don't know how many more "Too Fat, to whatever post" I could stomach!

I'm planning on using it to blast a giraffe with...so we'll see if the a big ol bull is a match for a trophy bonded bear blaw!

Gentlemen, were are so blessed and yet so cursed! I think it's so cool there's a place like AR so people like us can hang in the off season!

Looks like there's a bunch of people hitting it after the world cup...I got lucky and got a flight right after the cup for a somewhat decent price. Plus my ph gave me a break bc their camps were so empty in june and july, so it was worth it to spend a little more on the flights...

I went last year in late august/early sept...and loved it. It worked out to our favor because United wouldn't let us check our luggage through to Windhoek, so we didn't have pre-approved permits, but the saps office was empty. I don't think that will be the case in late august this year!

How did that happen? You are off to Africa, with my rifle, and I have no trip over there this year. It isn't fair!

September 4th we are off to Namibia for a 6 day tour then plains game then on to Zambia for Cape Buffalo.

Sept 3rd gerryb and myself got the Selous for 21 days

Any of you guys coming to Zim this year would be more than welcome to get hold of me and have a beer. I am based here in Harare and always welcome other Elite bow boys.....or any hunter to be honest to share a yarn and a beer...or several.

POST HUNT DEPRESSION: has already set in on me I got home last wk and is seams like I have been here forever. DAM i need a job in Africa

I leave in the morning for ten days in Zamiba and then six days at the Gras Ranch in Namibia. I will not sleep tonight.

September 30-October 25. SEA, Frankfurt, Rome (five days with family), Frankfurt, JHB, Windhoek, then 14 days of hunting in Namibia.

Eight flights!

20 days for me and my wife, leave June 3 for Kenya and then leave Nairobi on June 15 for Zim. We're hunting with Mokore. First trip and I absolutely can't believe it is almost here.

Zimbabwe for me, leave sometime mid September for 3 weeks of hunting spots with Gary Hopkins and 1 week fishing/photo Hwange/Vic falls. After that maybe Kilimanjaro

Leaving sept 20-Oct 6 for a double buff hunt in Makuti Zimbabwe.I will be flying SAA,Washington-Harrare.

Leaving May 31 for Zim. Leopard, Buff & Ele. Can't wait to get into camp, the bush, the hunt, and be the experience.
