I have known my PH for some time, so my situation may be a bit different. I just wire money to his account and send a follow up email and keep my receipts in case his accounting gets goofy. I always take $2500 cash for fun stuff and tips etc. Another advantage is that sometimes you just take a few extra critters and I can have my wife wire money to the PH account or wire when I get home. There are times I will wire money to his account even when I don't have a trip planned and have money on account. However, I trust and know my PH.
