having said that-
and having grown up flying with WW II generation pilots as instructors--
I promise you some of them were far better pilots drunk than most of the younger crew are sober

One of Us Pilots are human. Bad decisions happen but overall Professional pilots are some of the most responsible people I can think of. Me excluded ;D

Administrator Obviously this pilot has problems, and I am glad he was caught before he could have caused some damage.
I think we are forgetting that we are all humans, and regardless of how qualified, educated or profession we are in, we still suffer from human short comings.

One of Us The UK drink drive limit is very low four pints could put you at 5 times the limit and no one is drunk after four beers.

Administrator Every single pilot I know that works here follow their own rule of no drink within 24 hours of duty.
