Both these airline have ended their partnership with the NRA. Good enough to fly some airline other then Delta to Africa. Total hatred towards guns and hunters. Nothing like pissing off 5 million NRA members.

Emirates, Qatar, Turkish Airlines are far better airlines than D&A anyway.

Sorry, but I don't believe you. Just like everyone else (whose net worth is measured in less than 8 figures), you'll take whichever airline that (1) leaves from where you want to leave, (2) goes where you want to go, (3) goes when you want to go, and (4) has the best price or will accept your travel "points". Airlines are an oligopoly and you'll take whatever they offer you.

Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, Budget, and National rental car companies all ended their NRA partnerships. Who are you going to rent cars from? That may or may not apply for some (maybe most) people... but my net worth is measured in less than 8 figures.. and I just booked a flight with an AA code share partner for an international trip this week.. Delta had the lowest overall price.. United had the most convenient schedule.. Screw them both... I will also go out of my way to avoid them both for business travel (typically 8-10 domestic flights a year and 1-2 international flights)... wont be using Enterprise and their family of companies for rental cars either... I also dont shop at Target anymore.. and wont buy a cup of Starbucks coffee.. I routinely vote with my wallet... I should mention I have never in my life ever used an "NRA discount" on any airline travel.. but.. I do go out of the way to try to do business with companies that I know I share values with, or at least know that my values are not directly opposed to theirs..

Good luck renting a car on your business travel. In addition to Enterprise/Alamo/National,...Avis/Budget and Hertz have also cut ties with the NRA. Go Duke!!

"Never Delta or United again for me." I, too, call BS. Go ahead. Stand tall, and loud, until you want a price and a route and an itinerary that suits your business and/or personal needs. There will come a time when you'll have to swallow it all and punch the key. And Delta knows it. And as for renting a car? As has been said, good luck. For example, I am in the process of researching flights to Argentina. If I eliminate United and Delta for my planned destinations, the itineraries, time-hack, and prices are prohibitive. I'm screwed. Take a breath. Take a moment. And then go ahead and boycott these companies, and their affiliates. Good luck on your next trip. I'm not defending Delta. I think this is complete BS. But your position, in this context, is not tenable. 114-R10David

So you are going to "win" by flying American Airlines. American Airlines didn't pull their NRA discount, because they NEVER had one!!! In fact, none of the US airlines have NRA discounts. So who do you fly with now?? Personally I think all the major airlines in US and Europe, that I have used in the past, are crap, but if you want to travel you have very limited choices. Go Duke!!

Actually saw where a couple of Repub senators from Georgia were holding up a $40MM tax break to Delta as a result of the NRA renege. Serves Delta right if true... Yeah, see how long that lasts. Delta knows that the skids for its tax break have been amply greased and a couple of barking dogs won't derail it. Watch and see.

I don’t care if I have to pay extra I’m a life time NRA member and will support those businesses that do not want o infringe on my rights or things that I like to do. There are other avenues of travel and companies to use. United we are strong and if millions of people complain or stop using there services they will notice. Sometimes it’s not about the money or convenience but standing up for what you believe in!

Zero impact. Few of the nra members will not fly delta. The politicians will roll over like sheep once they are done kissing the nra ring. Delta is a $40bil revenue Corp Nra us $450 mil. Remember all those guys who were going to boycott delta over flying trophies from Africa. Mike

Mike I think you missed the point. It is not a boycott but a loss of a $40 million dollar tax break that Delta lost as a direct result of the NRA action. State tax exemption probably granted to Delta eons ago to entice them to make Atlanta their hub. Legislators were probably looking for a way to rid themselves of the tax break and this was good cover, but I like the optics. Delta Airlines is headquartered in Atlanta. For many years I lived in that part of Atlanta where the majority of Delta employees--and most pilots--resided. If Delta loses the tax break, a bunch of states will line up for their business--a few already have advised Delta they'd welcome Delta to their states. If Delta leaves Atlanta, the economic impact will be significant. The housing markets in certain specific area will be impacted, some Delta employees will lose their jobs, ancillary businesses will be impacted, and so on. Delta is one of Atlanta's major corporations. I doubt seriously that, in the end, Georgia will risk having Delta move to another state. But I could be wrong . . . Delta isn’t going anywhere. It would cost a LOT more than $40 million to move their headquarters elsewhere. And they certainly won’t move to a tax heavy state like New York, as has been speculated. The $40 million penalty is drop in their bucket. Vote Trump- Putin’s best friend… To quote a former AND CURRENT Trumpiteer - DUMP TRUMP

Regarding Argentina, LATAM (Flaco LAN) is a major carrier within the country. They banned trophy shipments after the Cecil debacle. Aerolíneas is another option, but they are codeshare with Delta. I’ve had to use LATAM many times since as they are codeshare with AA. As others have said, I was unaware of any NRA discounts until just recently. Maybe I should look into this while there still might be such discounts. I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills. Marcus Cady DRSS

Turkey has supported ISIL and has committed to killing off the Kurds amongst other atrocities. Besides that I wonder what kind of gun freedoms the average Turk enjoys? Supporting a Turkish company is an interesting political statement I guess.
