.

Question to those on here that actually own and use a TuffPak - can you get three soft sleeved rifles in a TuffPak ?

Am planning a couple of trips with my wife and youngest son and if we check separate gun cases we are looking at EUR 1.200/- plus in handling and airport fees each trip! So it adds up.

Hence looking for a possible shell for three rifles.

TuffPak website says three is possible, but would love to hear from anyone on here that has experience travelling with a TuffPak and more than one gun.

Thanks. Appreciated.

I only carry two rifles in mine, but with substantially padded cases. I think 3 , while being very heavy, is possible as long as you reverse the position of the one in the middle. In other words, 2 placed in the case muzzle first with the one in the middle paced butt first.

I have done 2 rifles and a shotgun.

Tuffpak is 18 pounds and I was at 49 pounds

I have different soft cases and some weigh less than the others.

it was 2 rifle in the soft cases taped together. they were inserted first and the shot gun was slid in beside them and it Wass a tight fit.

Charlie, 3 rifles will fit in a Tuffpak but you will probably be in the high 50s or low 60s on weight.

I seem to remember some countries require a separate case for each individual's firearms. IE: You can have more than one firearm in a case but all the firearms in a single case must be being imported by the same individual.

I have only used for two scoped rifles in soft cases as recently as May. I would have to pay overweight fee for three because the way and what I put in there. Two slings, cartridge belt, cartridge holder and knives. I also use the over bag that Tuffpak sells also. That puts me at 48 to 48.5 lbs.
