Leaving for Zim 4 weeks from tomorrow. Starting to get everything together. Last trip in 2011 two things I took that really went over well were individual envelopes for the tips and Tootsie Roll Pops (took 2 bags) which I gave out to the crew at the end of each day for the drive back to camp. Anything else new/different to take?

Like the tootsie roll pop idea. I took individually wrapped large life savers and did the same thing.

Last safari in Zambia, I took a carton of Top cigarette hand rolling tobacco. I could have taken three and not had enough. Big hit with the crew.

I second Tygersman. I have taken Slim Jims on my last three safaris and everyone enjoyed every break we took. I also took a variety of hard tack candy and gum. Peppermint was the hands down favorite.I also took cigars to share when I got my buffalo on the last trip.

Take a roll or two of duct tape, your PH will appreciate it.
