| My wife is a non shooter so I have rigged her up with a Nikon D5000 and a steady shot so we can see what it was we were shooting at. My daughter is a whole other story, she has taken a monster Black Bear last year in Idaho on a hunt set up for us by David Keith here on AR. Best hunt of my life. I am betting this one will be better.

| I will offer you the same advice I'd offer someone who was going to try crack cocaine for the first time: there is a very good chance it is going to change your life and cost you a lot more money. I look forward to your hunting report and photos, have a great trip. |

| Take the advice about keeping a journal. It will be rewarding in the years to come to reflect on your trip I have done one for each of my three Safaris and will do another this July when I go back. I plan on leaving them to my Grandson. Have a great trip! |

| This is my 5th African hunt, some were better than others and one was just not good at all. My advice is never hunt with an outfitter that is not a member of PHASA. There is something in the woodsmoke of an African campfire. Once you get it in your system you are hooked for life. This trip isn't about me although I hope to get a monster Bushbok. Seems I can almost kill a Kudu with a stick but the Bosbok just has my number. This trip is all about getting my wife and daughter addicted! .....Does that make me an enabler?

| You will have an amazing time - hope the trip goes well for the three of you - Africa is amazing and hunting there is incredibly addictive. As has been mentioned take a notebook or journal and take a small compact camera that you can carry on your belt and take lots of pictures everywhere you go. |

| You must be warned of the Mal D'Afrique, an addictive need to keep retuning. There really is nothing like it in my experience. More haunting and exotic than Katherine Turner in 'Body Heat'. |

| Today in a month's time the Cheshire family will arrive in RSA, I cannot wait to meet them, what I am looking forward to the most is to get Chantry on her first African animal. I can just imagine the grin on her dads face - pure pride. Life is how you spend the time between hunting trips. Through Responsible Sustainable hunting we serve Conservation. Outfitter permit no.
