Anybody ever use them to book for Africa? The only other time I ever went I booked through Gracy Travel, but They are not returning my call - and Trekkers is giving me a good rate.

Well...here is hoping Trekker's knows what they are doing...cause they are $200.00 cheaper than Gracy and willing to return a phone call in a timely manner.

Debbie screwed up a trip for 6 of us a few years ago by not letting us know our plane was cancelled. We only found out by calling the airline shortly before we were ready to leave home for the airport. Had she been on top of things, she could have booked us through another city and still had us make our connection out of Dulles. She was then of no use to us in rearranging our travel plans. One of our wives spent half a day of her vacation in SA on the phone getting those plans changed. I guess Debbie's daughters flooded basement was more important.

After her I used Kathi who did a good job for my next trip. Why she never returned my two calls late last year when I was looking to book more tickets for this year is beyond me.

I then went to Steve Turner at Total Travel. So far so good. We don't leave until this coming September but he has been very prompt with returning calls and E-mails.

I find that very surprising, because she has consistantly bent over backwards to help me and my friends.

However, no one is perfect I guess!

All I can say is I am not making it up nor was I looking to keep using different agents. I could have almost forgave the first one as we did have extensive flooding in the Milwaukee area but her reluctance/unwillingness to help us after that sealed the deal. I'd never recommend her to anyone.
