I like it that they don't seem to clutter up their rifles with square bridges.

You are opening a can of worms. First: I should state that it is a matter of taste. Second :I have to agree with your statement. Third: "Cluttering" as often seen on the many clones of the double square bridge Mauser´s is not at all to my taste. But if it is done as found on the original prewar Mauser´s it looks very good and is functional. One of the very few remakes of the Squarebridge Mausers that follow the rules of "flatness" are those made by H&W http://www.hartmannandweiss.co...repetierbuechsen.php

Dammit, I love a double square bridge action! especially if it has a dovetail cut for Talleys with a slide filler to hide the dovetails. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

I like square bridges IF they are used for the scope base(s) or if the rifle has only iron sights. Otherwise, what's the point? Regards, Joe __________________________ You can lead a human to logic but you can't make him think. NRA Life since 1976. God bless America!

Thanks for that link and I have to agree that these are the best looking square bridges I have seen. Subtle, funtional and a verry good style to them. Von Gruff.
