I hope this is not too far off topic. I had this 44 Special conversion on an Old Model 357 done nearly 10 years ago by Alan Harton out of Houston. A simple gun encouraged by Alan, " I can mill the metal away and put it back if we decide differently". A simple conversion then became much more. Many years later while living in Calgary my middle son brought home a couple of pieces of walnut he found in his high school woodshop "scrap bin". Having moved back to the States I sent the sixgun and slabs back to Alan and here is what awaits when I return home from Kazakhstan next week.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Simply elegant! Makes one want to pick it up and handle it. I'll bet a mild load with a Keith-style semi-wadcutter would work well. I have 1/3 coffee can of them all ready to go....

Alan did the polishing and Turnbull did the CC.
