Michael Petrov's "Custom Gunmakers of the 20th Century" has a photo on Page 42 of five gunmakers and A.O. Niedner in Niedner's shop in Dowagiac, Michigan, in 1940. First on the left is Vernor Gipson.

I wonder if V Gipson is related in some way to Robert Gipson - a Gunmaker from Washougal, WA.

I think it is probably Bob Gipson. He was a very talented gun maker out of WShingtin. He died two years ago
