Someone listed a website that was selling detailed blueprints for a falling block and I can't seem to find it now.

It'd make a great winter project after I finish a thumbhole gun.

Can someone repost the website please?

Dunno about this one, but I do remember a few years back I believe it was Precision Shooting (or the sister mag) which had an article about the Hagn action, with some decent drawings.

Smiler...LOL....Maybe it is.....I must say that it's hard to see it completely in that form without the wood and barrel.

I'm hoping when the book gets here it'll look a bit spiffier! dancing

Although I realize they aren't for everyone, I like the original design castings supplied by Rodney Storie (thread in gunsmithing section). Some of them make up into really great looking rifles (like the Ballards) and my guess is there's plenty of machining and finishing left for you to spend the winter on. And yes, I have to agree, the one in the plans from Midway and Brownells apppears to be one fugly action.

Just FYI but you can buy the drawings for almost all American Patten office registered guns there.

I am a fan of Heeren single shots and I ordered the drawings for them. Measurements they do not have.
