I'm not selling scopes. Each customer picks his own.

I don't understand grinding down that bolt handle on a Rigby Rifle! Makes it look too much like a Ruger.

Kent

That is some fabulous Walnut.

my 2¢, the scope is very functional but not over powering. a nice balanced look.

Is the serial number only on the trigger guard, and not the action?

Very tastefully done overall.

God Bless ya'll.

Beautiful work.
The scopes are top of the line. Why wouldn't something like this be used on such a fine rifle?
I'll bet the Rigby company is not much shook by crappy comments from the armchair experts.

i like the engraved gun sn10321 and its not a whole lot different than the pic i posted ,,and i like the hammered flat treatment of the bolt handle as opposed to the scupted look of the other rifle ,,tho the flat part of the bolt shoulder or stem could maybe use a little engraving from the top of the shoulder coming down to the top of the knob so that it doesnt seem to be altered and an after thought to accept the scope ,as far as the scopes go the light gathering ability of the ,swarovski, leica ,etc are incredible due to the objective lens being a little bigger ,,isnt it usually overcast in britain !!...paul

Hmmmm "much shook"?? The only nit I find is a screw not being timed perfectly. Otherwise, it is a lovely piece of work.

Wow! My Parker Hale that I paid just UK POUNDS 250 at auction in 2008 looks pretty much as good as that Rigby! And it included the Zeiss 'scope.

I really can't see that in the days of the classic Rigby, before even Paul Roberts, that they'd have even have thought to use Redfield or Redfield "clone" 'scope mounts at Rigby.

Sorry they just don't look right on the gun and "cheapen" it. The 'scope is no problem its functional and does what it says.

But the mounts just say "cut price" to me....totally inappropriate IF you are trying to re-establish Rigby as a quality brand and not just "badge engineer" a rifle.

Still each to their own. It's their money to spend as they like. But Redfield "clone" mounts on a bespoke Rigby?

If you are going to do it then I'd hope that you'd do it "right" with Rigby's classic mount style...
