Can anybody remember the URL for the gun shop, back in the SE that makes the cocking piece peep sights?

Time to get lined out on one or two.

thanks,

Rich

No site, it's an individual. He does them on the side and there's a waiting list. I'll try to find his info.

They are remarkably nice sights. I bought one of the first 3 he built and installed on a 375H&H on a single square bridge Mauser. Works nicely and he has actually improved the later ones. Quality is excellent.

NECG imported some Recknagel ones, and I think ColoradoMatt got a few. Might call NECG and ask if they have any left. They are not cheap, but look very nice.

I dug out an article I clipped some time ago written by Hamilton Bowen about a bolt peep sight. The company making this particular sight is Rusty's Action Works and is located in Montross, VA. E-mail is the one Woodhits posted above. Hamilton was very impressed with the quality of the sight.

My test mule is enroute. A friend sent two bolts yesterday. As soon as they return, I can look at how they actually sit on the bolt.

thanks to all,

Rich
