Nice looking rifle. How did Wisner get 5 down in the magazine using the original stock and no coffin floorplate?

third bite,
Jim may answer this in greater detail. JW is very experienced and this is his wheelhouse, he has been customizing and working on Mauser’s for a long time. I know he said the feed rails were modified along with the magazine box. I am sure there was some geometry involved and some other parts modified, some of JW’s trade secrets, I am not sure he is willing to share. I can say Jim Wisner is a very accomplished metal worker/gun builder.

Stocks are uncut factory original which FN calls their DELUXE Model made of French walnut , with newly installed Red 1” Pachmayr Decelerator 752 recoil pads added for a 14 1/4” L.O.P., J Wisner added a extra recoil lug on the barrel which he bedded along with the action.
