Is this fairly well known gunsmith a member on AR? Send him a private message. If you still get no response, call him out publicly. We all need to know, so we can avoid doing business with him.

Several people here have posted projects that he has contributed to, I dont know if he is a member here or not and he is too far away for me to visit. I will check the ACGG website to see if he is a member, I dont think he is. Im gonna give him till the end of the week and then I will post his name to see if anyone has any contact info on him besides his email. I have been hesitant to call him out incase he has had some sort of injury/ illness etc.
Sometimes.. some folks are the type that get tired of getting bugged and every inquiry will result with the order going back to the bottom of the pile.
Realistically 6 months is not unheard of. I guess you've sent him a registered letter and ask for the return of your property?
And Jim Kobe,,As you probably know, the MOST the ACGG ethics committee CAN do is evoke membership....Boy,,won't that strike fear???

Getting bugged everyday would get annoying, so is not answering emails for months for a project that you were told would be done shortly. The fact is I would be fine with it of he said it would be done in a few months or January or whatever. Just some response would be professional
