I bought one of 404WJJeffery's MRC rifles in 404 Jeffery. It is stocked by AI. I don't know what all he did to it, etc., but it is one fine rifle. I love the way the AI stock fits, handles and looks. The rifle is very accurate with Hornady factory loads. I look an elephant with it in 2009. One of my favorite rifles.

7 years ago? Well, that explains it.

A little over a year ago, the company was sold, and moved from South Dakota to North Carolina. The current owner keeps the standards very very high.

As stated above, the quality of finish and over-all workmanship are are much better NOW than they were under the former management.

So, you might want give AI another chance. Just my humble opinion. Smiler

Best,

Nemo.

Own a 35 Whelen SS, Wife has a .308 SS. Used to own two different 458 Lotts SS.
None required any "finishing" work to make them any smoother. They are as smooth as any Win 70 I've owned.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Best,

Nemo.

I don’t believe MRC moved their shop when they sold to the current owners. According to their web page they are still located in Kalispell Montana.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! 'What the hell could possibly go wrong?'
