You might pull this up, echolsrifles.blogspot.com and read the last 3 post I made in regard to this subject.

Might add another way to arrive at what you want

Or just use a post 64 one; all are made for H&H length.

I'm trying to fine one for Bruce Farman. He has a client who wants to build a 375 for a African hunt next year.

If that doesn't pan out I know of a really nice Al Biesen in 375 H&H on a Pre-64 magnum action in primo as built condition.

I question this Quote: The polishing appears to have been done by hand as all the surfaces are straight and the edges are crisp.
Sorry to disagree Prewar70. I know you have good intentions. The action sides and top on that one need to be re-shaped on a proper jig. Still worth $500.

Nothing to disagree with, just passing along an action he might be interested in. Not my auction

I called Bruce and it is exactly what he wants. Thanks Prewar70 for the heads-up. Bruce is going to bid on it.

Thanks Prewar70 for the post. I mentioned the waves in the metal with good intentions as well. Still appreciated.
