Several years ago I picked up a barreled action here on AR, and sent it with a blank I had to Mike Cuypers at Bijou Creek to have a 300 H&H made. I wanted it to look like an old British magazine rifle, with long barrel, short narrow forend, barrel bands, etc. I was so pleased with the finished rifle that I started picking up other barreled actions, actions, or incomplete projects, and sending them down. The resulting "set" is nearing completion, and will include 6 rifles similar in appearance, and chambered in 7mm Mauser, the 300 H&H, 338 Win Mag, 404 Jeffery, 458 Win Mag, and 505 Gibbs.

Here's the 300 H&H on a VZ-24 that started it all:

Here's the 7mm Mauser, also on a VZ-24

And the 505 Gibbs:

I'll post the whole set with better pix when they're all complete.

Nice set. I always like the way the smaller calibers look and handle in an express rifle style!

Rich, the 505 is on an MRC 1999 PH I bought here for $600. The 458 was a pre-64 Supergrade with a broken stock. The 404 is a converted M70 Classic action in 300 RUM. The rest are all Mausers.
