A while ago there was a thread on a single shot stalking rifle that the owner built his own stock for. I have been trying for a week now to find it, anyone know?

No it looked like a USSG Biakal Single, but it had a tang barrel release not the trigger guard. Like a Savage 219. I can't remember the specifics but it was a single shot and he shaped it to look like the Sealous Farqy.

If you are looking for a light weight single shot, the Bradshaw is the ticket.
I originally bought another Ruger # 1 to have a custom rifle made. Then I found Bailey. Glad I did. I have 3 # 1s and like them, but the Bradshaw is in another class altogether. Mine shoots the Hornady factory stuff so well that I passed on handloading(for now) and ordered another case of the Hornady.
Bailey is real easy to deal with and one damn fine riflesmith.
