I bought this barreled action from Terry Clark a couple of years ago and then sent it off to James to work his magic. I am very excited to get this baby in my hands.

Thanks James! Well worth the wait, my friend.

Very nice! Love the picture quality also! I am thinking about starting a playgun magazine! You could pull out the centerfold and have all the build info on the back. I could get some camo smoking jackets!

How's this?

Thanks to all for the kind words. I get separation anxiety on each project. They kind of grow on you. Still can't believe I get paid to do this.

Just shows the human spirit when you honestly can't hold down a real job! HAR!!!

Beautiful work of art...James is not afraid to tweak the nose of the "conventionalists" His stock design is meant to be a "stand up in your face, realistic, "come at me...MF..you gonna be a grease spot on the toe of my boot"

Gentlemen I received the rifle and had a chance to handle her today. All I can say is "perfection". It is the absolute embodiment of what I pictured in my imagination when I sent the action off to James. In spite of my lack of being able to articulate exactly what I wanted, James nailed it. This rifle screams Continental refinement and class with American ingeniuty and know how! Well done James!

Glad to see James on this thread because the gun pix he does are superb! Not to mention the rifle itself!

Mr. Anderson, I have always admired your metal work especially your octagon barrels. Hopefully someday I can build rifles as nice as you!

The barrel was built in Austria many years ago and recently rebored by Delta Gunshop. Pretty sure floormetal is from Wisner. David Christman did most of the metal work. I soldered the barrel swivel on, made the grip cap, and a little other metal work as well as the rust bluing.

I spent a few hours whittling wood as well.

Took the rifle to the range this weekend. I am pleased to report 1.25" groups at 100 yards with factory Federal 140 grain Gamekings. Looking good, shooting good!
