Hi Jim. Am I correct in assuming that you scratch-built the scope bases? They are a really nice touch.

The "widows peak" on the forend tip is also a nice touch and I'm sure was not an easy job. Great job. Absolutely perfect.

A 4-year bump.
Could you please advise us re the front sight base utilised here:
Is it custom-made by yourself (my guess), or commercial/off-the-rack?

I made both bases from a piece of stock 3/4 x 1 x 1 1/2, mild steel bar stock.

It also appears that the front sight base may have been procured from New England Custom Guns.
