Glad to see the update on this one. I was really looking forward to see how it turned out, and what had come of it.

Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

Aaron,

Thanks for the updates. I for one really enjoy how your current project is going regardless of some of the comments from the peanut gallery. Can't wait to see how it comes out.

Good luck with your new endeavor. Another custom builder is always welcome.

Bravo!

I like the front barrel lug treatment on the bottom of the stock - classic!!!

Love the trim look of the forearm and the long barrel. Looks very svelte. I bet it feels very nice in the hands. Well done.

Just saw this thread - awesome rifle.

I am not technical guy - I just love traditional English style rifles!

Glad you are doing an oil finish. I hope you will rust blue it.

Just wondering why you did not add a cheek piece on the stock?

I am not a fan of cheekpieces.

The rifle is with John Todd (http://johntoddengraving.com/) for engraving now. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

Compliments are easy when talking guns like this.

Am I right in thinking that you were at CST when Tulo asked that I bring some of my rifles over for the students to look at?
If so, I hope they made a good impression and I was happy to help out.

Fraser, Gibbs and surely a couple Jefferys.
Still trying to pin down a good H&H falling block...

Mike had a good thing going for the students whom were interested in actually handling those guns.
