I'm no help but I remember Pachmayr doing a thumbhole stock for a guy that lost his left arm from the elbow down. Excellent work.

McMillan if you have the time--best there is, unlesss you want wood Wink
Check out the Browning Hunter, it is a copy of the Sako 75 Geometry, one of the best hunting stocks ever--according to McMillan, and IMO!
