| I just had a Ferguson rifle here. I was delivering it to a friend. It was a high wall in .225 Win. His workmanship was real good and his sense of line was fine. To my knowledge he is a school teacher that makes rifles as a part time hobby. I had a friend who had Ferguson do some work for him. He said Ferguson was easy to deal with and my friend liked his work.

| Bill retired to Montana a few years ago.
He has done several rifles and a shotgun for me; fine work! |

| I have a 7x57 G33/40 Mauser with the name Bill Ferguson on the barrel and the bit of information I've found here is the only information I've been able to find on the man, if it is the same person. As every one has stated here about various firearms bearing the Ferguson name, the one I have is a fine looking rifle. I wish I knew how to post photos so you could see what I'm talking about. Any additional information on the gentleman would be appreciated.

| No flies on Mr. Ferguson's work...
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch... Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! - Rudyard Kipling
Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.
