Having BM and 3pos. safeties available makes it easier but neither is being made anymore. |

Australian grown English. http://www.rogervardystockwood.com
I've been buying my beautiful wood from Roger for many years. Ask some of the top stockmakers about Roger's wood.It does not cost much to ship and the dollar exchange is great for us right now. |

| I'm really impressed by the colour, that deep, rich brown that has no reddish tint to it at all. Is that colour typical of English walnut in general, or was some type of stain used to create it? I hate reddish wood, and I've been trying to figure out what type of walnut to use. I was steered towards Bastogne, but this is making me re-think. Hats off to everyone who had a hand in this one! |

I used no stain on this, I like to leave the wood natural and appreciate it for what it is. English walnut comes in all different colours and hues. I've got blanks that are red, brown, black, honey, yellow and everything in between. If you are shopping for a blank and you are after a particular colour then I would recommend choosing one in person rather than online, although the better dealers should be able to supply what you want colour wise. Cheers. |

| Just send Roger Vardy an email. This is his rifle and the blank is from his huge stock of blanks. |

| Thanks Roger, sorry there's no scrollwork on it. Was planned to be but the project went on far too long due to me being slack. |

| Scroll work would not enhance that gun IMO, you cannot improve simple perfection..
