Does anyone know where I can find an "as issued" stock that isn't all chipped up and filled in w/ epoxy and bow-ties all over it? I have a very nice rifle but the stock looks like yesterday's dinner from a goose.

I haven't been to his shop in over 25 years, but there was a guy who ran Scotty's or Scotties Militaria on Colfax Ave. in Denver, CO. He used to deal a lot in British surplus and I do believe he is still in business. Good luck.

I assume you mean you have a Number One, rather than a Mark 1. #1MK3 is the most common one. Try Springfield Sporters or Sarco.
