What is the opinion of the Marlin Camp 9 in 9mm and the same rifle in 45acp? The 45's tend to sell for twice the price for some reasom...maybe more rare?

I have both and they are excellent guns, pity they don't make them anymore. Mine are accurate, fun to shoot, no maintenance problems to speak of. I have red dot sights mounted on each.

If you want a plinker, either will do. For home defense, likewise.

About the best current production versions are the Lone Wolf dedicated lowers. They are the Glock guys, and their lowers take Glock magazines. I may sell my AR-9mm carbine and buy one in 9mm or 357 SIG.
