I was just given a ShtLE #1/MK5 in pretty good condition. Anyone have an idea what price range these go for. Best I can tell there were only 20,000 made from 1922 to 1925.

I have seen "fakes" go for $300 and the real deal for upwards of $1000. Somewhere in between is the average. Gunpoker example Surplus Rifle Page on the No 5 My mind works like lightning. One brilliant flash and it's gone.

Thanks, Jerry, but this is a pattern 1, MK 5. There's so many variants it's all to easy to get it all turned around.

Yeah, I could tell you had a variant I was not perfectly familiar with. I am far away from being an Enfield expert. All I know for sure is that my No 4 Savage example shoots like a dream. My mind works like lightning. One brilliant flash and it's gone.

Thanks, Bob. Yes condition IS everything especialy on collectables. It looks like the gun might be worth more on your side of the pond than mine.
