ShtLE #1 MK5 Lee Enfield
I was just given a ShtLE #1/MK5 in pretty good condition. Anyone have an idea what price range these go for. Best I can tell there were only 20,000 made from 1922 to 1925.

I have seen "fakes" go for $300 and the real deal for upwards of $1000. Somewhere in between is the average.

Thanks, Jerry, but this is a pattern 1, MK 5. There's so many variants it's all to easy to get it all turned around.

Yeah, I could tell you had a variant I was not perfectly familiar with. I am far away from being an Enfield expert.

All I know for sure is that my No 4 Savage example shoots like a dream.

Thanks, Bob. Yes condition IS everything especialy on collectables. It looks like the gun might be worth more on your side of the pond than mine.
