I think what's worse is it is setting back the opening of local golf courses... Mad

As far as the bear hunting goes this snow is no big deal. I won't get excited about bear hunting until late May, when the big boars start wandering chasing sows.

They've beem threatening us with crappy weather for the last couple of days, but it keeps being downgraded. A friend of mine pointed out weather forcasting is the one job, where you can consistently be wrong and not get fired. Big Grin

I have studded snow tires on my wife's car and just today was thinking I have to get them off.

I should do it tomorrow.

I live in the Fraser Valley so shouldn't have to deal with anymore snow this spring.

May 1st here in Idaho. Snow, treacherous ice, and freeze warnings for tonight. My bear season closes May 31st, and I doubt I'll be able to get up there this year with all the drifts on the Forest service roads. Winter sucks!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey cool!! Thank you for the news. Coming home from work yesterday, I saw a chocolate brown one, north of Salmon Valley. It was small but looked in good shape.
