DemonicalI think what's worse is it is setting back the opening of local golf courses...

As far as the bear hunting goes this snow is no big deal. I won't get excited about bear hunting until late May, when the big boars start wandering chasing sows.

Grizzly AdamsThey've beem threatening us with crappy weather for the last couple of days, but it keeps being downgraded. A friend of mine pointed out weather forcasting is the one job, where you can consistently be wrong and not get fired.

Buddy of mine told me today that he saw lots of bear tracks in the snow in the Manning Park/East Gate area.

.366torque+15 today, go figure!?!? Wonder if it's safe to change to summer tires yet?
I have studded snow tires on my wife's car and just today was thinking I have to get them off.
I should do it tomorrow.
I live in the Fraser Valley so shouldn't have to deal with anymore snow this spring.
May 1st here in Idaho. Snow, treacherous ice, and freeze warnings for tonight. My bear season closes May 31st, and I doubt I'll be able to get up there this year with all the drifts on the Forest service roads. Winter sucks!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi 366: We saw the biggest black bear ever around here on Apr 28 just outside Mackenzie. He looked like a well fed fall bear instead of one just coming out. Dan
Hey gunbug I see your from Mckenzie I've been prospecting around there for the last 5 years and got to know Vickie at the airport very well.
Do you know Werner & Rosie they live year round just north of Omineca Camp near 184 KLM.
If not stop in and say hi he lives right on Bonnie Lake and the trout fishing is great he would love a visit tell him Cam said to stop by.

Hey cool!! Thank you for the news. Coming home from work yesterday, I saw a chocolate brown one, north of Salmon Valley. It was small but looked in good shape.
