Anzac, from what I can tell, is close to Prince George. I have been told that shooting a moose bigger than 40 inches is going to be a challenge. With that in mind, I guess I will pass on the hunt.
Bill MONAHAN is an old time outfitter and was one of the first guys in the territorys huntin sheep etc, he lives south of Claresolme in South Alta. I do know he has never hunted the area he is going into near PG, so it may more exploratory than good hunting. He was looking for some one to go with him the first few hunts to check the area out, but not sure if anyone I know is going to or not.

I hunt the Prince George region all the time and I think you are wrong about 40 inchers being hard to find. I shot a not that big 7 by 7 last year that was 46 inches and a 8 by 9 a couple of years ago that is 49 and a half(I just couldn't find a way to get that tape an extra half an inch). Anyway I would have to say that the average for moose shot around here are around 6 points and they are probaly close to 40 inches. Its way harder to get 50 inches than to get 40, I think that is the bigger barrier.

My cousin Bob Dunlop owns North Anzac Guides and Outfitters 250 964 9112 why not give him a call and quiz him. I'm not sure about Bill Monahan I have never heard the name before but it is a possibility they have bordering concessions. If you really want a big moose you have to get an outfitter near the Alaska/Yukon border or go to Alaska or the Yukon better still thats where the largest of the 4 sub groups of moose are.
