They are located in Cranbrook, BC. A friend is booking a Black Bear Hunt this June and I might go along. 2X1 $3500 for week, Horseback Hunt. They say there is a good chance of getting colorphased bears. And they guess you will see 6-8 Bears a day and put on a stalk or two. Any comments about the area or outfitter would be appreciated. Do you mean Ram Creek Outfitters? Steven Leuenberger, owner. Or possibly Sheep Mountain Outfitters? Bob Cutts, owner. Cheers, Canuck

Ahhhh. OK. I had Google's "sheep creek" in the past and their site doesn't make it on the first page for some reason. Lots of "Sheep Creek Outfitters" in the US. ![]() I don't know the outfitter at all, but now I know where there territory is. Thanks for the clarification. I have been in Buhl Creek a few times...very nice bear habitat. The logging has had a few years to green up nicely, which is great for bear hunting in the spring. Along the Skookumchuck river would be good too. So, while I can't really comment on the outfitter, it looks like they have some nice camps and I think with that territory you'd have a pretty good chance of seeing lots of bears, and tonnes of beautiful country. Cheers, Canuck ps: here's a pic of a nice colored boar that a buddy of mine treed last June ('06)...it was taken not too far from Conroy's territory... ![]()
