Here's a .pdf of the NWT hunting regs. A polar bear will cost you $800Cdn plus tax, if you get one. Plus the cost of bringing a firearm into the country($50Cdn I think. A must have before you come into Canada. http://www.cfc-ccaf.gc.ca/info_for-renseignement/factsheets/visitin_e.asp), getting there, guide fees and the 'no fee' export permits required to take the carcass home.
