Can anyone recomend a good outfit for Polar bear hunting? There seems to be limited information on hunting these beasts. If anyone has been on a recent Polar bear hunt please let me know how it went.

Here's a .pdf of the NWT hunting regs. A polar bear will cost you $800Cdn plus tax, if you get one. Plus the cost of bringing a firearm into the country($50Cdn I think. A must have before you come into Canada. http://www.cfc-ccaf.gc.ca/info_for-renseignement/factsheets/visitin_e.asp), getting there, guide fees and the 'no fee' export permits required to take the carcass home. You'll need a USDA import permit too.

The Polar Bear hunts I've looked into start at around 30 grand & rise quickly. I think I just thought I wanted to hunt the big bear...
