Do I need a guide to hunt in Sask,Manitoba and Ontario? I'm an out of province canadian in all these provinces? Why shall there not be patient confidence in the ultimate justice of the people? Is there any better or equal hope in the world? Abraham Lincoln

According to the Government of Manitoba 2007 Hunting Guide, only non-resident aliens (non-Canadian) need a guide. Non-resident Canadians don't appear to need to a guide. You can read the full rules and regulations at http://www.gov.mb.ca/conservation/wildlife/hunting/print.html ________ "...And on the 8th day, God created beer so those crazy Canadians wouldn't take over the world..."

A Non-Resident Canadian hunting in Alberta just needs a friend/in-law to hunt with, I'm pretty sure. Non-Residents need a guide.

Nope, you can get a non-resident alien to hunt with you on a Hunter Host license too. Tag availability is different for aliens. Frans

As Franz says, Hunter Host licenses are available, for up to two people on one HH. You can only do this every two years. I did it for a couple of friends in '03 (whitetails, moose, bison, wolf), and another in '06 (whitetails, wolf and moose. - dan "Intellectual truth is eternally one: moral or sentimental truth is a geographic and chronological accident that varies with the individual" R.F.
