Has any one heard if the Blk. Bear shot ,(crossbow) near Mattawa,Ontario, broke the record.???? Green score26" weight 700#.

26 is pretty damn bg for a blackie- or any bear..

I got a mid range BC record book blackie this year, butit was 6" shy of a 26" bear!!! Razzer

You should check out the PA. dnr web site a couple of years ago the top 10 bears went over 700lbs with several above 800lbs.
