Posted for a friend $2500 reward CAN YOU IDENTIFY THESE DAHL SHEEP HORNS.   THESE HORNS WERE REPORTED STOLEN , SPRING 2007 FROM BC WILDLIFE STUDIOS, CAMPBELL RIVER BC. (DROPPED OFF NOVEMBER 9, 2005 FOR MOUNTING.) NOTE LATERAL SPLIT BISECTING FIRST ANNULI ON BOTH SIDES LEFT HORNED IS PINNED # 977. AGE 12.5 YEARS UNOFFICIAL SCORE: LEFT HORN RIGHT HORN DIFF 35†35 4/8 12 7/8 12 7/8 12 12 10 2/8 10 2/8 5 4/8 5 3/8 1/8 TOTAL 75 5/8 75 6/8 3/8 GROSS:151 3/8 NET: 151 TIP TO TIP SPREAD: 28†THESE HORNS ARE PROBABLY STILL IN THE CAMPBELL RIVER AREA, MAY HAVE BEEN DUMPED. The other question is how can a taxidermist take over a year to do a mount? My Taxidermist does a full mount in only a few months Sept - January If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness." - Alberta Provincial Court Judge Demetrick    | |||

Canuck32, who is your taxi, if you don't mind me askin? And is he good at African game? I waited 20 months for a pedestal sheep mount once. I ain't doing it again....just don't have the patience for that anymore. Cheers Chris | |||

Canuck, If I gave you that info I might have to wait forever for my mounts  Actually he has only done a couple of african mounts so far, but he does his own tanning which is where a lot of the time savings comes in. Hunter's Taxidermy in Innisfail, AB. His prices are a lot better than others also  If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting.
