MyNameIsEarlSorry to hear about that. It always amazes me how someone can walk out, stealing, horns. Its not like you can put them in your pocket and hide them.

Canuck32The other question is how can a taxidermist take over a year to do a mount?
My Taxidermist does a full mount in only a few months Sept - January
If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness."

CanuckCanuck32, who is your taxi, if you don't mind me askin? And is he good at African game?
I waited 20 months for a pedestal sheep mount once. I ain't doing it again....just don't have the patience for that anymore.
Cheers
Chris

Canuck32Canuck,
If I gave you that info I might have to wait forever for my mounts

Actually he has only done a couple of african mounts so far, but he does his own tanning which is where a lot of the time savings comes in.
Hunter's Taxidermy in Innisfail, AB. His prices are a lot better than others also
