| Popular in Eastern Canada. My son has a pair of aquatex lined boots that make his feet sweat so much he has to change sox even while stand hunting. |

| According to the label, Sportchief dates back to 1946 and the warranty card has a Quebec address on it. Like has been suggested, maybe "big out east". If it will warm up enough to rain, I'll wear it to work and report back. Thanks for the replies. |

| Finally wore the coat to work today. Wind about 15 to 20 mph, snowing off and on, temps in the high 20's. Coat works great. Kept the wind out and I was toasty all day. Stood around for half hour or so just bs'ing, letting the wind (both kinds) blow. I would buy another. No problem. |

| That brand is quite well-known here (Ontario), most shops carry it. I've got a few pieces and they have held up well over the years. I don't think that Aqua-tex allows perspiration to evaporate nearly as fast as Gore-tex, but I sure haven't performed any controlled tests or anything...just my seat-of-the-pants impression.
