Outfitter..... Primitive Outfitting Location..... British Columbia, Canada Firearm.......Verney-Carron AZUR double rifle in 375R V-C. Game hunted......Black Bear Dates...... June1-7 2014 Hunt Type......Spot & Stalk This hunt involved checking for feeding bears along grassy areas, logging roads, rail road tracks, clear cuts from logging, pastures. When a suitable male bear was identified we stalked to a reasonable range. Most of the bears were seen in the last few hours of the day My son took his bear at about 75 yards, extremely nice 7 foot bear (nose to tail). One shot & the bear never moved My bear was also 7 foot at approx 125 yards Very interesting & exciting hunt, we saw lots of bears & would recommend this hunt.
