The penalties issued against the hunters in this case tell me they "KNEW" they were taking place in illegal hunts. Does that fit the facts of the case?

Quote: Yes the "hunters" had to have know what they were doing was illegal. In BC a non-resident who wishes to buy a big-game tag must, by law, provide the guide's name before a tag will be issued. The biggest positive I see in this case is the way the law enforcement agencies on both sides of the border worked together in getting the paochers convicted. Gatehouse, if you want to re-post this please do so!

In BC most non resident guided hunters get there tags from the outfitter him/herself that are pre purchased when the hunt is confirmed, obviously these fellows either had no tags or information was falsified to get them from a store . good to see thy all got busted for there efforts
