Hi Guys,
What is the availability of Hornaday V-Max bullets in Alberta, preferably the Red Deer area? My 6PPC shoots the 65 grainers better than match bullets and my .243 shoots the 87 grainers better than anything else that I have tried. Since I am holidaying in Alberta in May 04 I thought that I could pick some up as the price here in the UK has risen to 20 a box or $47CAN!

Where can I buy them and will they be cheaper than $47CAN a box?

Thank you.

Steve.

I don't know about Red Deer, but you can buy them at a couple of places (usually) here in Edmonton. I haven't bought any recently, but I wouldn't expect to pay more then $24-$29 CDN per box. HTH - Dan

Most gunstores that sell components for reloading will have V-Max's.

You won't have any trouble finding them here.
