And best of the Holiday Season to you as well chuck375.

So I guess if Canada would be the 51st state, Greenland would be the 52nd?

We almost had a war because Americans demanded their customs officers in Canada should be armed. Wink

I was thinking that it would be 13 more States.

Although, I would say combining Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PE Island and Labrador into one State would make more sense. Then it would be only 10 new states.

Unless we don't take Quebec, because really, no one wants Quebec.

Quebec may be surprised at how much Quebec that Quebec won't keep because of the natives. That was brought up the last time they voted on separation, it wasn't going to go well for the Feds or the Quebec gov't.

that is indeed a big issue as 2/3rd of the territory under nunavik or james bay treaty and under federal rulings ... and if you had the st lawrence river exemptions that will leave not that much for a new country ... but quebecers got more in threatening to leave than really leaving ... way more clever than the brexiters for sure.

Whatever he is or isn't he's a massive improvement from the last disaster of big government waste and fraud and lawfare. Sorry you can't see that because you're feelings were bruised by him picking on your socialist dicatator.

Fair enough. I see nothing wrong with national pride and I would have felt the same way you do. IMO he's a big mouth blowhard but this country needed a massive change.
