Just got my CPL and bought a Kimber 1911 CDP II with 4" barrel. Would like all of your input on holsers (like something to slip inside wasteband if a good one is out there, extra mags (which are the best), etc. would appreciate all input.

Thanks,

Larry

I like a Milt Sparks Summer Special best.

Been using one daily for over 35 years.

His mag carriers work great as well.

I still use a couple of Bianchi #30's to carry extra magazines most of the time.

Thanks Tony but is it the Milt Sparks that looks like it has a huge "backing" on the holster? Curious if this is not too large if it is the holster I am thinking about. I like the idea of something that can easily slip IWB. What do you tink of the belt loop idea at "back" of " front" of holster?

Thanks,

Larry

Larry the model of the Summer Special I use has no "backer".

It is the original model of the Summer Special

I also have used the SS for a Glock and for a 4" S&W 44 Mag.
