I recently traded for a Charter Arms 44 Bulldog, 2 1/2" Stainless. Loading and shooting suggestions are welcome. I plan on loading 240 gr. cast bullets (purchased) and shot cartridges.

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.

I bought one about 4 years ago and it's a really good revolver.
First thing...polish or de-horn the razor sharp cylinder release and and other areas that bite.
Next, put a set of Pachmayr grips on it. They'll sure make life easier if you shoot 240-250's.

I use the Lee 429-214 SWC and the Lyman 429215, both cast from Lyman #2 alloy and lubed with alox, over 2400 or Unique.
