| Yes, I would like to see a 6" barrel also. But you're still getting 70 to 100 fps advantage on many loads per inch of barrel up through 5", then is tapers down to about 50 fps or less per inch of barrel per BBTI. And I haven't seen many factory 6 inch long slides on semi autos, but you do see 5" barrels. In fact S&W M&P comes in a 5" barrel for the 9mm.
I imagine they're trying to match the 4.6" barrel on the Glock 20 seeing it's popularity, though. |
